Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. She grew up in an artistic family in New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of arts. Her first job was as a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. Her first two movies she received recognition and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought the world to her in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she had been voted as the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
