Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began her career by working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy reports. Her first impression was that her job as stimulating intellectually, but eventually lost interest and bought a small grocery store that was known as Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the shop extremely popular before selling it off before acquiring a pen to begin writing her first book. Then, a number of cookbooks were published and she also wrote magazine columns. In the meantime she also had her own Food Network show was also a success. The company sells numerous products, from ingredients for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor worked in a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her easy method of cooking, and her effortless take on entertainment. Some of her best known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
