Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is well-known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, in 1956 she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The same year, She released Her first album of songs, called It's Time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary however she also made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
