Lita Ford and Francia Raisa
Lita Rossana Ford was born in Britain and was an American guitarist, vocalist as well as songwriter. In the late 70s she played as the guitarist in the hard rocking all-girl band The Runaways. The group did not have much of a following within the United States. However, the group's popularity increased abroad especially in Japan. Ford's solo heavy metal career proved successful following the group break-up. After taking vocal lessons she released her solo debut album, 'Out for Blood'. This was followed by the release of 'Dancin' On The Edge'. Ford did not achieve anything with either of them and remained out of the realm of rock for around 10 years. The hit album "Lita" was made available by Ford in 1988. Kiss Me Deadly (single) as well as Close My Eyes Forever (ballad) were two of her biggest hit songs. However, her fame was brief, and she went under the radar for several years. Her return came after the release of 'Black in 1995 and 'Wicked Wonderland nearly 15 years after. Her latest album was released Time Capsule in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine has awarded her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
