Pooja Hedge was born on October 13, 1990 in Mumbai in Maharashtra. She is a model as well as an Indian film actress who is known for her roles in films such as Tamil Telugu, and Hindi. Her personal life was in the Hindu household to Manjunath & Latha Hegde. There is a sister named Rishabh Hegde. Pooja is part of a family which is mainly located in Udupi. She speaks fluently in Hindi, Tamil Telugu Kannada as well as English. Career Pooja has been attracted to modelling and fashion since her growing up and decided to begin her career as a model and actor. Then she began to follow her dream to become a model as she pursued her studies. In 2010, she participated in the 2010 Miss Universe India contest where she became the second runner-up. The direction she took in her career was to film. Mughmodo was her first film to her name was born out of a meeting with several south film makers. For a chance to make it in the cinema she approached several south film producers as well. Mughmodo was her debut film to make it into her professional career. The film Oka Laila Kosam was the film she was to be offered. She then received several film offers, and appeared in various films from south India. In 2016 the actress made her Bollywood debut in the Ashutosh govarikar film Mohanjo Dara, in which she played opposite Hrithik. The film was a huge hit at the box office and she shifted back to South India. The actress launched several Telugu movies after her Bollywood debut, such as Saakshyam aravinda Sametha Venera Raghava (Maharshi) as well as Saakshyam. The films she made all did good at the box office, and she was seen in Bollywood film Housefull 4.
